Someday my prince will bring me my . . .

The prince rode up on a white horse, in full costume complete with a mysterious mask. He leaped from the horse and strode up to his future bride who waited for him in princess costume complete with tiara. He knelt before her and presented her with a one carat diamond. "Will you marry me?" he asked. Her tearful "yes" misted the eyes of every woman in the room. Wouldn't it be good if my future husband would ask for my hand in such a way?

Every woman somehow wished their once in a lifetime would start with a memorable way of asking their hand for marriage. I've never really thought of how mine would turn out to be. Perhaps ugly. Perhaps fine. Perhaps i'd be the most luckiest woman on earth. Perhaps not. I don't know. No point of thinking it though. It will happen naturally. Hopefully i ain't gonna be one of those whose gotta say yes because i'm pregnant with his child. Ha ha!

Anyway, i wanna share what i've seen. This happened back some time in the states. I seen this fine man, kneeling down in front of his woman. Out at a very simple diners. He held his glass and started "clinking". Obvious he got everyone's attention. He shouted out loud " Dear ( i forgot what's her name ) will you marry me?" . . . It's not about the diamond ring ( although it looks pretty big ), it's not about the flowers nor the place. It's about this man. This man whom she loved dearly asked for her hand. Another big bonus, this man kneeled down. Pretty common for foreigners tho. But it made me drawn a deep breath. I'm so happy for the couple.

And so i remember, another one that i think it's pretty romantic. Happened right in the heart of PJ. This lovely man actually adverstised his love for the woman he'd wanna marry on a banner hanging on the PJ Hilton Hotel! A bit extravagent i'd agree. But hey, every woman wants to be different from the others. And this is one of the ways you show her how unique she is. And how far you can reach for the stars! Go figure~!
